Halls Greenhouse Louvre Window

Product Description

To ensure your plants are well ventilated, you may take advantage of additional ventilation by adding a louvre window, usually placed on the back side of your greenhouse, on the opposite side to the door entry.

Unwanted air is extracted through ridge vents, allowing fresh air to enter via five or six (model dependent) adjustable slats, to ensure draft-free ventilation of your plants.

They can also be paired with an auto louvre window opener to turn the louvre from manually openable, to automatic opening, to cut down on having to open and close the louvre window yourself.

Installing Into A Greenhouse with Horticultural Glass
Greenhouses with horticultural glass (2ft x 2ft overlapping panes) will simply have one of the existing glass panes replaced with the louvre window. Depending on the model, the louvre window will either fit in the entire 2ft height gap, or be slightly shorter than the 2ft height gap, but include a filler glass piece to fill the gap. 

Installing Into A Greenhouse with Toughened Glass
Greenhouses with toughened glass (full-length clear panes) will require one of the existing glass panes replaced with the louvre window, and then two smaller glass panes used, one for above and one for below the louvre.
The two additional panes would have been included and leftover from when your greenhouse was originally purchased. If you have these saved, you simply use these, otherwise, you will need to source or cut out to size from the original pane the additional panes, which are then placed above and below the louvre window.
